D pharma – Upvaid (उपवैद्य)
A diploma course that trains you to work with Ayurvedic medicines, not modern (allopathic) drugs.
It is a 2-year diploma course in the field of medicines and drugs. It prepares students to work as pharmacists in hospitals, medical stores, or pharmaceutical companies.
In D.Pharmacy (Upvaid), subjects are mostly related to Ayurveda:
- Ayurvedic medicines (herbs, formulations)
- Basic human anatomy
- Pharmacy practices
- Preparation of Ayurvedic drugs
